Are you a professional or Hobbyist checking out the latest developments in MIG welders?
Taking the plunge for a new MIG welder and looking to purchase one of the best MIG welders on the market? If so, you have found some of the best small MIG welders on the market. The Everlast Power i-MIG line of welders are truly one of the pioneers of the inverter MIG welder market in the United States and Canada, dating back to 2004.
Are Inverter welders new?
Inverter MIG welders are not new. But what is new, is that people looking for a small MIG welder now have a choice of finding what they are looking for in an compact and affordable inverter design . Until recently, tired, old transformer-based MIG welders dominated the market, and you could not buy a small MIG welder with an Inverter platform from the major brands. With Everlast pushing the envelope on inverter MIG welder technology, the major players have finally stepped up and offered their own small inverter MIG welders. But we are still out in front in affordability, and features that we pack into our highly portable MIG welders.
Looking for a Flux-Core welder?
If you aren’t sure you want to step up to the full gas MIG welder (GMAW) market, every Everlast Power i-MIG welder and PowerMTS Multi-Process welders can be adapted for flux core or dual shield use. Simply purchase an additional flux-core drive (F-CAW) roll and you’ll be good to wire weld gas or gasless, whenever you choose. If you choose gas MIG welding, the units are fully ready to go with the deluxe floating ball type regulator. Simply purchase your MIG wire and gas at a local welding supplier and you’ll be up and running in no time.
What kind of metals can I weld with an Everlast MIG welder?
If they make a filler wire for it, you can weld it with at least one of our truly portable MIG welders. If you specifically need an aluminum MIG welder, or want to weld or braze with silicone bronze, the latest Power i-MIG 275P can even be equipped with an optional push pull gun. All Power i-MIG units feature the ability to weld with a spool gun, if you need to economically weld aluminum or stainless. And if you are in a hobbyist setting, these units can be equipped as a 1 phase MIG welder or if you are a professional, they can be equipped as a 3 phase MIG welder. Just be sure to inquire about 3 phase welder availability before you purchase.
