Designed as a true multi-process power source, the Tempest 412i offers MIG, DC TIG and DC Stick welding capability. The unit has multiple wire feeder attachment options both standard and pulse MIG wire feeder options as well as a suitcase wire feeder option. The Power source alone features TIG and Stick welding with provision for Lift Start and Scratch Start TIG arc starting for DC. The unit has both standard and cellulose modes to enable the user to weld with virtually any common welding rod out there. The Tempest 412i as features a gouge mode. The gouge mode provides the perfect compliment for people wanting a complete DC power source package. The unit operates on either 240V 1 phase or 480V 3 phase input and provides 400A output @ 60% duty cycle operating on 480V 3 phase. Operating on 240V 1 phase power, the unit achieves a maximum of 315A output @ 60% duty cycle.
