The Skyliner 400S is designed for heavy stick welding and arc gouging applications. The feature list is short, but it does what it does quite well delivering 315A on single phase 240V and 400A of power on 480V 3 phase output. Able to stick weld with E6010 and about any other rod, this is a good go-to unit for field use. The unit also features Arc force and Hot start for better control while stick welding. For Arc Gouging, all you will need is a good air compressor able to keep up with the demands of carbon arc gouging.
