Man that's alot of weldng, how much gas have you gone through so far?

I'm on my second 300 of Ar and down to 1500psi on my 300 He tank. I've only done 70 feet of welds on the boat frames so far but I did a lot of other welding before I started on them. I've got another 30 feet on the frames. I went through 2lbs of 1/8" 5356 rod today and will probably use another lb of 3/32 finishing them up.

When you mix gas you use a lot more but the difference in penetration is amazing. I can run down that edge weld at 185amps and not blow over the edge without using pulse. Once I get into the thinner stuff I'll use pure AR and drop back from 30cfh to 12-15cfh.

It doesn't call for all of the full welds that I'm doing. It's probably overkill but what the heck.
