    I like using the top for a workbench. Some like the welders higher up to protect more from dust and metal grindings.

    I guess it's all about preference. I had thought about putting the plasma cutter on the top shelf, but the upper flat surface is just too handy to lose. If I were to do that, I'd make it a triple decker to get my shelf back. I'd have to at that point to put the plasma cutter pieces along with the MIG stuff.
