1st project for my everlast

Well my new everlast needs a home and space is minimal. My wife evicted the baby everlast to the garage on the floor. So I dropped $120 on metal and wheels to fix this issue. As of right now I got a pile of parts and no idea! Will post pics and specs as my plan unfolds.

A few hour later and another $40 I have a basic structure that is about as well thought out as my first kid. It will hold my small mig and 1 of my arc welders as well as my new everlast. Hopefully before bed I'll have the rest planned out and mostly done. Hoping for primer and paint bu Sunday night.

It got pretty cold last week. 26 degrees with trucks and loaders with frozen air brakes. I love laying on the frozen ground thawing out brake lines. My garage is heated and cooled. Right now it is a toasty 67 degrees in there. I have pics and need to down lowd then up load.

Well... My update after 4 hours is simple. IT SUCKS!!! Looking like a jr high project. My frame only idea looked like crud.

Looks aren't everything, if it is functional and stout, what the heck. If not, hopefully you can salvage your material and build it to your satisfaction.

It will work fine. My mig welder is 20 years old and getting real pissy. Time for new rollers and a liner. I hate buying lincoln parts but I love the welder. Gonna try to put my pics up now.

It's really easy to upload pics straight from your computer to the forum with the "insert image" tool.

I'm not all that computer wise. I can build one but using one is another story.

well it's done and drying. I cheaped out and used , used wood for the shelves. Also used the left over paint cans rather than getting new. Ended up with way to much cash into this thing. It's 22"x 36" x 34" and it will hold either of my big arc welders, my mig, and my everlast. Ended up putting in 2 shelves and no hangers. I have a old o/a cart that I will mount on the back and it will have all the hooks for cables and such.
My opinion on this is a total waste of time and money. The only up side is the space I'll save in my small garage. If I was to grade it... C at best. Far from my best because I got lazy and cheap. I'll add pics soon. waiting for fumes to clear.

To make it simple, put the pics on your desktop then look at this pic for instructions... after you click "select files" click "desktop" in the window that opens and highlight the group of pictures you want to upload (up to 5) then click open, that window will close then click upload files and they will go into your post. Once in there you can drag them to where you want them in the post.

Here it is.
I was looking at the little parts holder and realized it would fit in the shelf and hold my consumables. It will get painted later anf the wood will be replaced as soon as money is free. Total wt is about 30 lbs and the casters are 330 lbs. ?Frame is 3/4 x 1/8 angle and 1/2x1/16 sq tube. Designed to be light and hold my babies. I needed it to roll out to the driveway and gravel. It does it well. All welds in the contact area were ground smooth and my mig sucks right now.

i use photobucket because when i click the photo button all it says is : insert text. so maybe somethings wrong with my browser or something else, but like i said, i use photobucket, and just copy the img code.

I might do that.
On the plus side. It is amazing to roll around. I have my forney sitting on the bottom and all my gear and bottles and I can one hand it until I hit gravel then both hands are needed. The big casters and tires were a good choice. It is fairly tall but it works very good with my work habbits. The sheet metal being fully welded takes all the flex out of the tall structure. I'm guessing that it is just shy of 500 pounds right now. On the down side, my 2 tone blue paint job is tacky.
