scootarida1 the base is 90 degrees angle iron with if that is what you mean with two pieces flipped one on each side Here is one piece I made

2 1/2" x 1/2" x 1/4" from the side stacked like ^v^ but all flat and press together.

Okay thanks I will be making one of these brakes for when i make and air filter box for my car. I made a brake before but not with a press so i think this idea will work better

There is another brake were I got the idea well my Dad did. Look for recent posts by Scooter. His has a hand wench and his pictures are easy to see more detail.
