Welcome, Lone Wolf! Questions are welcome, no worries. What kind of things are you welding on? What drove you to get a plasma cutter / TIG welder?
Always been a bit of a metal worker.
I like fabricating and such.
I like to be self sufficient as much as possible... a do it your selfer.
Hence the lone wolf.
I've built choppers, go carts, racecars.....etc.
I have a wire & stick welder. bandsaw, drill press, jib crane, sanders, grinders yadda yadda.
A very nice man cave to hang out in.
40' x 40' x 16' with radiant floor heat.
I do signs, graphics, pinstriping and custom paint.
bet your sorry you ask now
LW
Not sorry at all, glad to know the details. Post pictures if you got any- are you going to join the contest?!
I like the sound of radiant floor heat in the shop! Starting to get cold here in VA. That reminds me, it's time to winterize the small engines...
Not sure about any contests
I'll have to look into it.
I'll post some pics soon

Always a lot of fun to see what guys are up to- and capable of.
Holy smokes, thats a nice shop. I've got a 100 year old horse and carraige stable, with wood floors.
LW, that's your shop?! Looks bigger than my house! And Buzz, welcome, a horse barn souns like a good spot for a shop too. Where are you from?
My shop is well ventilated and features solar lighting... meaning it's a spot outside the garage as close as I can get to the electrical outlets. These days daylight fades too soon, and it rains too often.
