Default More Everlast Videos from Weldingtipsandtricks.com

Jody has posted a few more videos of the units on weldingtipsandtricks.com, of both the 250EX and the PowerPro 256. In one he is stick welding with the 256 and in the other he gives a more detailed look at practical use of manual pulse welding.

I hadn't gotten an update recently from his site. So I went to check it out and found these :http://www.youtube.com/user/weldingtipsandtricks

    Enjoy!

It was his videos that convinced me to order a unit from you guys. I was looking for a used Miller before researching your units and a friend of mine was trying to get me to go with a different companies product but after watching Jody's video's and seeing the comparison between the Everlast and the Miller I decided to order a PowerPro 256. I think the video's are great from someone who is still learning welding.

Jody's videos are an excellent way to begin to understand most of the E'last welders advanced functions. Watching the whole series of "All those freakin knobs" vids helped put me miles further down the road rather than just experimenting alone...

Jodie's videos are the reason I bought the 256 [awaiting delivery]. He did some nice testing and took it through some paces. It's way more machine than I will ever need, but he sure sold it to me.
I am out trying to 'find myself'. If I should wander back while I am gone, please tell me to sit quietly and wait for myself to return.

LOTS of scuba and vintage scuba equipment [I'm Always willing to trade or buy the stuff you think is too old to use]
Smithy XLT Mill/lathe [It was easier to learn than I thought, I'm no pro, but I can make a bearing hanger]

Informative video. I understood the mechanics of this from what I've been reading but it just makes a whole lot more sense being able to see a weld taking shape under the various conditions. Nice.
Is it OK to want to break something just so that you can weld it back together?

I'd like to know the physics behind the cleaning action. Anyone able to explain it or point me in the right direction?

I think he explains it quite well...The force of the arc in part "blows" the oxide layer up in EP.
