  3. Default EXT pannels and cooler follow up

Hi It's almost been a month since I posted last. I wanted to follow up on the pannels and the cooler for the EXT. Last you replied they were reworking the pannels for the new EXT.

Do you have photo's of the reworked units? (Specifically connections and panels)

Alex said there would be a custom water cooler made for the EXT units. What is the status of that?

    Thanks!

When will the EXT be available? I looks sweet. Being able to reproduce settings is a plus. Are they still going to be as affordable as the EX line?

No, they won't be as affordable, there will be some significant price increases over the regular EX line. But it will still be thousands less than a Dynasty 350. You get more, you pay more, so to speak. But I can tell you this, there is no comparison, after having tested and used both products. I have not found any other brand, including Miller and Lincoln and even our current powertig line that has the stability and ease of start that this unit has. Its simply unexplainable. I mean it is strong too. I was getting 100% penetration on flat 3/32 metal at 75 amps. Beautiful welds. The 315 production should start soon. They will be 3 phase 460 though. The 250's are not ready for production yet. But I have a pic here of a half hearted test plate I turned out the other night, playing around. The plate is 3/8" open root plate. Root pass was about 60 amps with 3/32 filler and 3/32 tungsten...I laid several beads, one over the other, running each one a little shorter than the other, to give a tapered out effect so you could see the pass under the one on top of it. The last pass was made at 130 amp with 3/32 tungsten and 1/8 rod.
