To follow up with that last post, the new PowerMTS 160 and 200S are the latest welders to be introduced from Everlast.
Self contained, and portable, are two things that come to mind when coming up with things to say about the units. Digitally based MIG, DC TIG, and STICK capability are features of both units, with self contained wire feeder and built in TIG torch gas valve with 2T and 4T control. Also, it features down slope and post flow control. For MIG and Stick performance, the units feature wave form control that varies the inductance of the machine.
The 160 offers regular function MIG while the 200S is synergic in function. This means the basic parameters of wire diameter and wire type are entered and automatic adjusting of the wire speed is accomplished as the voltage is changed. But for times when the wire speed needs a little tweaking, the unit features alternate function which allows normal control of MIG wire speed and voltage. Some people might consider this similar to the Auto Set of Miller, but in actuality, it is much more advanced and precise compared the the "preset" that Milller uses.
When I figure out what is wrong, I will load the pictures. I had a recent update, and it says I am missing a security token.
