I understand problems with manuals. I have written enough test instructions for equipment that I have designed to understand how misunderstandings happen. I would hope everlast would take my comments and improve their manual instead of blowing me off. Sometimes customers can be helpful if you listen to them.
My question about the pulsing was an honest one. The answer about slowing down the pulse rate was appropriate. I could have done without the rest.

    Joe,

I know Mark personally, as well, I work with him and he is a very nice person. Sorry if you took it wrong , it was a little more information than you asked for.

If you have any problems with the unit down the road, feel free to call in and ask for me or email me a phone number to contact you at. I am "normally" quick to get a fix and off to my next project. Though I do ramble with a few customers sometimes. Get a guy started on welding, cars, bikes, guns, etc..

I think you are right and we should add that to the manual as I've had that question a few times in the past and not everyone makes it to the forum here.

    Have a good weekend.

Mark smiley's go a long way!

I learned the hard way a long time ago not to use the word "Boy" in any way shape or form unless describing someones gender, and you better be very sure of it at that!

Thanks to all of you (Mark, Mike, and Duncan) for your help on the stand off. I'll probably try to make my own as the wire ones are a bit pricey.

I am assuming Mark is the gentleman in the videos with the southern accent, Duncan with a accent I cannot place, and Mikes not in a video!

    Boy,
is a polite venacular term where I am from...

    Like,

    Boy, its hot in here!

Or Boy oh Boy, do I wish I had paid my light bill on time.

    Just like,

Man! what a day I had.

    or

Foot! I forgot to stop at that red light.

    or

    Shoot! I reckon.

I just looked at our site for those stand-offs and ( dare i say it ) Boy they are expensive
I talked to Jean about this ( She does all the website pricing and ordering of Consumables) and the single piece has to stay at this price.
The reason is we are chaged $11.00 for shipping ( CDN Shipping is a lot more than US )
but the 3 pce packs will be reduced . You also need to keep in mind that a lot of times we sell them to walk in customers or with other cons and the price is adjusted accordingly.
As for Having a Accent , Actually i do not have a Accent it,s just everyone one else has one . I tell my wife this all the time but she still finds it hard to believe. Typical Canuck not speaking the Queeens English.
    cheers

Mark, I know where you are coming from, but like I said, I found out the hard way that people will take the term "Boy" no matter how its used in a bad way.

Duncan, I know shipping plays a large factor, and makes it a bit pricey, even in Canadian funds. As I've stated before if it wasn't for the border, you'd be much closer, and faster shipping. 1 day compared to 7.

I don't have an accent either.

Anyway, I think the original poster got his question answered and then some!

BTW the smiley's are busted on my end!
