Thanks for the reply Mark.
I fully understand switching polarity with TIG and Plasma...My question is exclusively about switching to DCEN when STICK welding with the 256si...
Is the machine able to weld stick in STRAIGHT polarity (DCEN) or will the machine be damaged.
Only reason I ask is I'm a new owner and I (think) I read somewhere it can fugg up the machine.
