Bought a Lightning MTS 275 a little over a year ago. Didn't use it much till recently. Noticed that after a few minutes of MIG welding the screen would freeze and I couldn't change settings. It would keep welding just fine, but if I wanted different settings the machine had to be turned off then back on again. This problem was repetitious at various times of welding. Called technical support and was told to clean the interior of the machine and make sure all circuit board connections were firmly in place. This did not help the problem, so I called back. Mark sent me instructions for checking amperage at various connection points. They were all within range. Mark then advised it needed a new screen circuit board.

Although I was told it would take 10-14 days for the part to arrive, it was here in 4 days. Replaced the board and no more problems, so far.

Really outstanding customer service for this repair. Each time I called I was answered promptly. If it was an email exchange it was also a very prompt reply.
