My name is Fernando and I'm new to welding. I'm in the military and I'm getting ready to retire and I can't wait to start my new stage in life. Looking to learn welding Mig/Stick and create a small shop in the back of my house. I'm planning to buy the Power MIG 230i and the plasma cutter 52i as initial investments. Seen some good videos online and I know I can use those two equipment without issues. I'm following some welding youtubers but I'm open to additional suggestions of good online welders videos or sources.

I'm retiring in TN. Anyone around 100 miles from FT CAMPBELL that I can tag alone to learn the good, the bad, and the ugly of welding? Thanks
