Thread: New PowerPro 256D Plasma air problem solved

  1. Default New PowerPro 256D Plasma air problem solved

    Hi everyone,
New to the Everlast Forum and happy new PowerPro 256D/ 375 Cooler owner.
I had intermittent no air in plasma mode (code 806). tracked it back to the male quick connect nipple supplied with regulator/trap.
The inner port was formed drilled so large (6mm) that the valve inside the Female quick connect fitting would slip inside and not be depressed and open the passage.
AT TIMES! Some times would work for a few seconds and close, at times wouldn't open when connecting air hose. Aarrg!

Quick repair. Silver Soldered port shut and re drilled to 3/16" All is well!

Photos: Left nipple is Everlast supplied Right nipple is general stock part
Would have changed nipples but Everlast supplied is straight thread w/o'ring and stock nipple is 1/4" npt.

Hope this helps someone else if they have problems getting air from the Reg/trap.

    Regards,
