    Default Shipping Charges????

As a business owner in the healthcare field, I know the situation in today's market when comes to shipping equipment and parts. I was going to order two sets of rollers for my new Power I-MIG 253DPI. But when I saw what the shipping charges were, I put on the brakes! $30.00 dollars for just two sets of rollers for standard shipping! I have invested nearly $8,000 in Everlast equipment in the past 2 years, over $5,000 in the last 4 months. I know what flat rate shipping should be. If someone in Everlast office is readings this, I want to put my order through my FedEx account, please.

You probably didn't think about searching about this issue. But if you had, you'd see that the website has a build flaw in it that doesn't combine shipping on small items. If you call your order into ext 206 they will combine the shipping into a 15.00 flat rate to combine items in a single shipment, unless it is too large or too heavy for that rate. We don't deal Fedex. You'd have to arrange that completely. The 253dpi comes with pretty much all the standard drive rolls the machine is equipped best to handle. What drive rolls was it you needed it didn't include?

So if this has been a known issue and yes, I did the search, why it hasn't been fixed online? After I sent this out, I see I posted the same issue over a year ago and it still hasn't been looked into? What the MIG comes with driver rollers is fine but I have .023 wire I would like to continue to use plus .045 and larger for large-scale projects.

Its hard wired module built into the site. Cannot be changed without a new site. Most people call in their consumable orders as it is.

Brad, Did you see the post above? The site has a bug in it that adds shipping for each item ordered. You can call in direct to order and we can combine the shipping into one box for a flat fee. The way it's built is like Amazon. Each item is subject to it's own shipping charge. Our minimum shipping charge is 15.00, so it adds up if you don't call in to order. We can combine everything in for that 15.00 fee if it's parts or consumables up to the minimum weight.

The site is being rebuilt, but customers who order from us generally know to call in and order direct rather than from the site.

I just posted about the excessive shipping charges again. So, in December 2023 the issue/problem still persists. It really should be changed. It's only software!

Yes, because it requires a major site design change. On a site largely hand built, it is hard wired into it so to speak. We've got a new site coming on board at some point, but at this point it's not worth spending the investment to change. The option to call the order in still is available and always has been. This eliminates any issues.

Thank you for the reply. I have figured out that calling in the order for parts resolves the repetitive shipping charges. I will continue to do that in the future. The problem is, I could not find anything on the site that directs customers to do order direct from shipping to save on shipping charges. People have to figure that out for themselves. Looking forward to the new site.

Again, that is major site building problems. We have talked about it enough on our forums and facebook pages that it is mostly known. Also if it is something large that comes through, most of the time we catch it and call the people.
