Thread: Issues with Power I-Mig 230i

  1. Default Issues with Power I-Mig 230i

    Hello yall,

I got my power I-mig 230i about a year ago and have only used it acouple of times for a short period. When I went to turn it on I got nothing from the machine, but 220v at the wall. I?ve called everlast twice left a message and emailed them with no response. How should I go about fixing this issue?

    Gee,

Call Everlast during business hours on a business day and you'll undoubtedly get it handled. Mark, from Everlast, has a track record of consistent customer follow-up for several years that I can tell. I mean, it's transparently obvious within this forum and others on the worldwide web. But, maybe he's sick, or something else.

Otherwise, check and reset your circuit breaker.

Please let us all know back within this thread what it is that ultimately solves your problem, as it may even be some slight or silly oversight.

I?ve called them during their business hours, and left voicemails. I?ll try again tomorrow morning, hopefully it is something small. I just have no idea how to go about diagnosing and fixing whatever the issue may be. By circuit breaker do you mean in the wall, or does the switch on the machine have a reset button? Like I said i?m getting 220v from the outlet and the fuse next to the on/off switch has not burned.

    Yeah,

    That's what I meant.

When you get someone on the line, they'll put you through the usual paces or form a path for a repair.

It is a little surprising that you are having trouble getting someone on the phone. I mean, I've never seen a report of that to speak of, before now.

    You'll undoubtedly get through shortly.

Which business hours? Tech support works East Coast hours. Call me today. If you leave a message (providing you can't get me) I'll call you back, even after hours.

I?ve been calling in Central Time and leaving messages, I belived it to be still in the proper time frame, but that may possibly be the issue i?ll be sure to give you a call Monday and be sure of the time. Thank you for the response!
