Thread: Teacher liked my 200 ST

  1. Default Teacher liked my 200 ST

First, let me say that I started welding school at age 69 and quickly established myself as class dunce. I got my 200 ST during the first semester and couldnít do anything with it on Miller settings. I took my machine to school and worked with the instructor - a 28-year union veteran - to figure out the settings. It didnít take him long to figure out that with Millennium rods the amperage setting needed to be 74 A. He was really impressed with the stringers the 200 ST laid down and began suggesting to all the students that they get an Everlast.
For full disclosure I must admit I am still not much of a welder.

Sounds like many stories I continue to hear. People who know and recognize a good welder, love the PowerARC 200 models, 210STL, or 200i ST's. Even the 161 STH is great.
