I've been working with my new 210EXT, wow! Many options/ wave forms on AC ; not to mention pulse settings and a extensive frequency range. DC is also very adjustable, especially with DC Pulse and Frequency settings: 18 gauge SS is no problem now and it gets even easier to weld as you increase thickness of base materials.
I also received a email: my PowerCool W300 has shipped from EL! I'm looking forward to utilizing its benefits (the wonders of water!) with my TIG welders and enjoying extended practice sessions.

I hooked up my W300 and have some feedback for those of you thinking of getting into water cooling. I'm using the RV coolant mix (Amazon), it comes in a partially filled gallon jug with about 32oz's of coolant - you fill the partially filled container with distilled water ; that coolant mix now goes directly into the water cool. You will need two gallons of mix. All seems to be working well and I had no leaks. I plugged my w300 directly into the back of my 210 ext.

For reference the dBs reading I observed were as follows: 210 EXT = 61 dBs. , the 210 With the w300 running is 72 dBs. and you can not hear the 210ext running. So, its a bit loud with the two running together. The 210EXT. is actually not bad at all ,noise wise, running by itself. We'll see, maybe a fan mod in the future. (see this old tony on YT for ideas).
Haven't welded with it yet, I'll keep you posted. So far , so good! Also, if your just getting into water cooling, see my "heads up" post regarding water cooled tig torches (Nova).

Yeah,
My 210EXT, with it's always-on four fan implementation is so nice and quiet, I'll guess that it may be the quietest 200/210 amp AC/DC TIG unit that can be found on the North American market.
It would be nice to see a sound comparison that includes a 210EXT, a SW200, a Dynasty 210DX, and an AHP Alpha TIG.
