Dinse connector

So I’m kind of ignorant to the Dinse connector as I’ve always used tweco. Is the dinse 35 a 50mm ? I asked my local welding supply guy about dinse 35 and he was clueless

Yes, they will work, though technically it is a 35 70. The size is a reference of the cross section area of the cable the connector will accept.
