How long have you had it? The display on that unit IIRC averages the welding amps based off the pulse settings. But call 877 755 9353 ext 207 tomorrow. There is probalby a simple fix. I'd unplug it, take the cover off and reseat all the connectors. Allow it to sit for 15 minutes first.

I've only had it about 11 days. I gotta say man before this happened, I was VERY IMPRESSED with the 255. I am by no means and expert on Aluminum TIG, but it's night and day better than my Lincoln, (last time I will use that fowl language on here LOL). Having the ability to dial in both sides of the pulse and the time the pulse remains on the welding amp side is just simply amazing.
I agree with you that its probably nothing major wrong just something simple.
