    Default Everlast pedal

I have a couple of questions about the stock factory pedals that are offered with the units. Is it normal to have to install the lid on these pedals ? I have gotten a replacement pedal from Andrew and on both the original and the replacement the lid was off and the second pedal is a 22 ohm where the first and original pedal was a 50 ohm so will the 22 work on my 255 EXT ok because it is digital? The reason I had to replace the first pedal was because the gears would not mesh properly and when you would step on it they would not engage. I know that I'm glad I bought a Nova pedal and I'll just use the other for backup.

The manual says the latest one will handle 22k ohms or 50k ohms. The question is if you have the most recent model, and I believe you just purchased it so that should be the case. Best if Everlast could answer. Paging Mark, paging Mark...

Thanks for the reply Mark & Alan. Yeah I had no problem with reassembly I just thought it odd that they arrived that way. I talked with Andrew about it and he really didn't say much about it .

Alan I seem to remember you had some questions about the pedal on your machine did you ever resolve that ?

    Mark,

Yes, I did. I actually had thought mine was 50k ohms, but it was 22k ohms. It seems that the 22k ohms is what most all of the newer Everlast machines use. That seems like the preferred pedal since your machine will operate with it.

The only other thing is to make sure you don't order the MTS model it has the wrong connector.

You should be set, sounds like you got the 22k ohm pedal.

That said, I haven't used mine too much as I've been focusing on stick.

The first pedal Andrew sent was a 50 ohm and the second was a 22 ohm and as far as the Nova pedal goes I don't know what the ohms count is on it Alan.

I haven't had a chance to try out my 255 yet its been cold and my garage isn't heated.
