It seems just as possible that the unit may have called for a board that was not on hand somehow and needed to be shipped from Asia first, which could explain the necesssity of the added time.

Otherwise, the $100 cost for a round-trip in shipping and about 60+ days seems quite reasonable to me under those circumstances, I think. Of course, there was probably 10+ days used for travel on the unit itself alone.

The unit will undoubtedly arrive and function like new. So, please let us also all hear about how happy you are at that time.

But this Everlast forum is just another benefit for us here, as it does allow for some added attention in facilitating a warrantee issue.

I called the number + extension that performance provided. It was Brett again and he said he'd look into it. The next day I got an email from UPS that Everlast is sending me a package from TN.

Kudos for Brettt but, still, this kind of thing shouldn't happen. 60 work days / 3 months is excessive. Given the string of events, the welder must have been sitting there waiting to be shipped for some time even though the shipping was prepaid.

We will see what is up when the welder gets here on 11/21/17.
