First review of new Power Ultra 206PI

Had it a couple of weeks now and thus far have cut some 1/2" plate (like butter) and welded it together with some 1/8th" 6011 at about 110 amps and a few 7014s at about 100 amps!

Beautiful! I love it so far! Haven't had occasion to use the TIG function yet but if it works as well as the rest I'll be an even more happy camper!

Snap a few pictures of that new unit for us, would you, as I don't think there are any yet on the Everlast webite. I had a multi TIG/Plasma, DC-only (one similar to what Everlast used to carry early on), and it was great for several years. A friend now has it.

Oh it is! And very much lighter then my other (Miller) machine. I have also noticed that I can produce very similar beads to the ones I make with the Miller machine at quite a bit lower amperage settings. I'm betting that is due to the way the inverter works but I'm not sure about that.
