Default Robust garage floor concrete patch with welded rebar.

The garage slab is to the right, top, and left of the photo. Six inch deep half inch diameter holes were drilled into the garage slab. Rebar was then pounded into the holes. Additional rebar was then welded to the pieces sticking out of the holes tying the individual spans together.

No rebar ties the driveway slab and the garage slabs together. They suffer different temperature, weather, and load characteristics. The expansion joint between the two will remain just that, an expansion joint.

Pure utility, nothing glamours or creative. It is, however, exceedingly stout concrete repair.

Photo of finished and cured concrete patch. The gloves are for scale. Sorry about the shadows, the low angle of the sun through the trees makes for the distracting contrasts.
