Hello, I am a 16 year old welding student looking to learn as much as I can with various welding forums and am planning on buying my own home EverLast Tig welder. I currently do have a job welding (modifying shipping containers) and love it and am hoping to become good enough at Tig to weld for LockHeed Martin or something similar.sample aluminum Tig weld

2 of my sons started welding under 16, you will find you have it down faster than you think. Main thing is lots of seat time.

No, it's Fluxcore wirefeed on the containers too windy for tig or even mig outside by the water. Fortunately being in highschool I have 3 whole periods dedicated to welding so I get 3 hours a day to weld as much as I want plus it costs me nothing in consumables. Not sure, I'm an engineer. Welding is only a hobby for me.
