What can I say? I liked the measuring cup and didn't want to see it repurposed outside the kitchen. Photo number one is after brazing with oxy acetylene and a Harbor Freight version of the Smith mini torch. I *should* have tinned each part then held the two together with a spring clamp heating until the brazing compound liquefied again. It would have made for a cleaner joint with less goopy edge. Oh well, next time. The second photo is after cleaning with a Scotch-Brite pad on a die grinder following up with the Dremel and buffing compound.
