    I use a 400 grit 6" flat diamond lapidary disk on a cheap 6" bench grinder. I've been on the same one for 2 years now with no sign of wear. Mine is made of steel and doesn't require a backing plate. I chuck the tungsten in a cordless drill to spin it while I sharpen. You can have a look at them on ebay http://www.ebay.com/itm/US-150mm-6-D...item1c3fae3165 320 grit should work also.
