Hello,

Just received my 2014 model PowerTig 185. Thanks to my wife for a wonderful Christmas present! I'm a avid fabricator that is going to finally get into aluminum welding and doing more critical strength welding such as ATV A arms and frames.

I opted for a foot pedal and upgraded regulator and I am considering upgrading the stock 17 series torch. I am looking at getting a CK 9 flex head torch with a 1 piece superflex cable. My question is.... can I disassemble the stock 35 dinse connector/gas hose assembly and just connect the new superflex cable or do I have to get one of those CK Safe Loc connectors to connect the new superflex?

Get the CK dinse connector and I would opt for the flexloc torch... all available through Everlast.
