    The elastic type sleeves bug me, so I have some leather sleeves for some stick welding positions. For TIG I usually don't bother. A good sunblock should protect you from the UV. My fiancée will get a sunburn from just a few minutes of welding, so she has to take more precautions.
    Long arc, short arc, heliarc and in-the-dark!

    I too hate the elastic sleeves. But leather will work best. Also we have used denim long sleeves. If we are doing something short/fast, gloves are all we use, not that we are recommending that.
