It seems that the people who designed W8 were teeny boppers...not business professionals. They use words like "charms" or "forget this" etc. Why create a new lingo that is unprofessional, and try to sell it to professionals? It seems that our web designers have grown up in that type culture though...imprecise, close is good enough etc. I'm upgrading right now to 8.1 which is supposed to relieve some of the other issues. I love the new computer. Fast, easy to type on...loads of capability compared to the old one. I'm not putting the W7 machine away, but retiring it for lighter house duty. Just have to take the bite and either get office 2013 or find the old disks on 2010. Not going to put things on "the cloud". Stupidest thing I can think of...short sighted and not loaded with potential security issues and long term storage problems.
