Less than one year old John Deere mower repair.

Did a repair on a John Deere the guy swears he did not hit anything. Hope pictures came out OK.

Start removing parts.


Grind out hole. There was no rust.


Tack and square up.


Weld. You can see the tear
in the metal. He must have hit
something. Cash is cash no matter.


I went over tear and did the back.

yeah..Right,,,and don't forget about those promises to change the oil in that poor machine..

Those tires aren't OEM, and the pitting on the top side of the mower deck next to the discharge guard, and the thin/thick sections around the metal and the anti scalp wheels say that that unit is at least 3 years old if used daily, rode hard and put up wet. I've got a 7 year old JD mower with less wear and it's been used to cut a lot of grass.
