Thread: Anti-roll bar link mounts

  1. Default Anti-roll bar link mounts

Small and not particularly cool or fast, but hey, it's On Road Fabrication! I made up some control arm mounts for some 3/8" front anti-roll bar links. These are cut from 0.090 CrMo sheet.

I tacked a bolt through the bottom plate as a mounting stud, then mocked up and tacked up.

After welding them up, I cut the studs down to length and added a quick coat of Krylon.

Turned out real nice, well done. Can I ask, what are you using to cut the half circles out of the end in picture 2 of 4? Those are some clean cuts.

Just a hole saw and then dressed them with a sanding roll. I put a 7/8" hole in the center of a 1x2 piece then cut it in half to make two parts.

Nice, I like the adjustability that they have and that will have some positive effects. Should be nice and stiff without any rubber bushings too. I changed my factory rubber bushings to poly inserts.

Preload is bad, so adjustability is a must. The purpose of this was actually to relocate the mounts inboard and reduce the effective rate of the bar.
