Mark, I after reading your Post, I got off my butt and went and finished the wiring. Turned the machine on and ran with no
problem. So I decided to start welding something ....anything ! I looked and looked just trying to find a piece of scrap anything.....nothing. I finally an old splitting maul that I had welded a metal handle in 20 or so years ago. So I grabbed
it and hooked the ground up an grabbed some 6011 rods I just bought and ran a few beads around the old welds on the splitter. The 200dx may not run the 6010, but the 6011 ran great.
I got some of the 7018 and ran a few more passes with it. It ran smooth and evenly. I was grining all over myself. I haven't pick up an argon bottle yet, so have not tried the TIG. I hope get a bottle tomorrow or early next week. I can't wait to get started to what all this can machine do. Also try to find Something that I can do some welding on! I was so excited about getting the welder that I did not ever cross my mind about having something to weld on. I guess I should have gotten a few things together before I ever ordered the welder. But hell, I wanted to get it so bad I just wasn't thinking. I hope I run the 200dx through All its paces within the next few days.
Thanks again Mark for giving me a reminder. And as you said "Time is Ticking" .

    Thanks
