  1. Default Fish boxes

These are salmon head recovery boxes 304 2g stainless steel for fisheries and ocean Canada , What they do is clip the adipose fin on a hatchery salmon also tag the jaw. They release the salmon in streams and rivers. When you catch a salmon you determined if it is wild or hatched (wild will have the adipose fin). If it is a hatchery salmon cut head off place it in recovery box. These heads will be scrutinized by a scientist to determined where it was relesed how old, what heath, where it was caught based on location of box ,usually a wharf close to a good fishing hole here in B.C. This is one of a bunch of projects I have tig welded with my 210ext and I'm happy with the refinement of the arc on this machine. Rare earth tungsten are my new favourite.Click image for larger version.

Very nice. Now that's an odd project I've never heard of before.

I had heard of that program but never really knew how it worked until you described it. Was this a contracted job or do you work for the ministry? I sure hope they clean out those boxes on a regular basis and not weekly .... !!

No I don't work for the ministry it's just a job I did for them. The boxes have a viniger brine solution in them so the heads don't degrade.

Nice work. Are you doing the cutting and bending as well? If so what tools did you use?
