No Cut
After neglecting my Supre Cut 50P for a couple of weeks go to use it, light off once, cut for 1/4" arc then it quit.
Shows power, no error light 62lbs dry air. Tried new consumables, nothing.
Also the regulator has taken to making a hissing sound.
Of course I need it this weekend to pick up a couple of bucks.
Has not been my month on anything involves electricity.
Suggestions please.

You'll need to contact tech support for an rma. Not a lot else to do. If it won't scratch start an arc, then it's like a larger issue. IF air isn't flowing it could be a torch switch though or the connector.
If you exceed 90 psi supply, yes you will make the regulator hiss. You MAY be able to tighten up the screws that hold it together, but beyond that, you may have blown out the seals or the gasket.

Got 62psi running when the trigger is pulled.
Actually it started twice and quit after about 1/4".
Between this, loosing another computer, having problems with an electric golf cart, and way to many problems with Plasma Cam my lunch has been eaten for the last two weeks.
Wonder why it just quit, been reliable so far.............oh well.
Thanks for the input.

I hope you aren't using it for cnc use. IF you are trying to use this unit with a cnc, you ARE going to have problems, with both the plasma and the cnc. The Supercut is designed for occasional homeowner use and not daily cutting or extended cutting sessions. Unshielded HF will mess up and blow out many circuits within the cnc circuitry.

Not trying to use it on the CNC, that's another story I don't feel like going into, that has a 70s on it.

Gotcha. Wouldn't be the unit then on that... But the PP 50 is a fine machine. The SC 50 is sort of what the black and decker brand has become to DeWalt...or what "Companion" brand is to Craftsmen.
