Cooling fans

My 250ex is kinda noisy but it doesn't bother me a bit. Something I just have to live with. I know peoples sensitivity to noise varies from person to person but and as stated above most other tools that are used in preparing the material to get them to the point of welding the materials together are much louder than the welding machines. If the fans/machines are too loud, I'd suggest a using ear plugs. That will really cut down on the noise. And it is a cheap fix too.

Very good point on the ear plugs. Should be standard equipment for metal working in a lot of cases. And safety is a good thing.

I wonder how many people that complain about the fan noise own a harley or drag car? Would be a funny poll. Worse how many are welding in an apartment Shhh, need to finish this and it's after 10PM.

There are no waterblocks for computers that are large enough or would take that much heat. Water cooling a welder would require custom blocks and void any warranty.

I have a water cooled computer and it is quite it has a radiator 6W x 16H x 1.5 thick It keep it very cool I have look at it as a way to keep the noise down. Making a water block would not be hard I will have to wait till the warranty is up before I make one for my 250EX
