Here is my first welding project. Built from ground up. Nitromethane powered outlaw class mini sprint, 0-90 in 2 sec, top end 170mph. Does 17 sec lap times on 5/8 oval with tires you see. normaly runs on 1/4 indoor dirt track. 4 time high points championship car. Has soo much power wheelies 200'. Engine turns 14000-16000 rpm, highly modified GPZ Susuki racing engine (uses 1 intake cams instead of intake and exhaust, and 3 level closed loop fuel injection (racing fuel, nitromethane, nitrous oxide). on 118 octane dynos at 182hp@15000 rpm not bad for 600cc mil. With nitro/nitrous peaks at 305-330 HP depending on weather. Very light 452lbs dry. Spews 200' long rooster tail when running on dirt. Only problem we never solved is it take new tires and leaves them bald after 5 laps so we get at best 1.5 miles from a set. And fuel is $142 Gal. Fortunately only has 1 qt fuel cell. Same size as Honda Oddessy.
Learned a lot about how to weld, broke tons of things until we started getting better at it.
thanks for all the great tips in the forum, just picked up 2013 PP205S looking forward to welding chrome moly, aluminum, and titanium. Have a CASE 450 dozerr and TYM 450 tractor that needs some welding. Wish we had that when this car was built. This is the final version of #27 last of 4 we built.
