Someone backed a sprayer into a wall and broke off a rear mount. To be fair it was probably cracked for a while before that, from the looks of things.
This time I did have 240V, so I finally got a chance to do some TIG with the 140ST and new torch control. Cut off some of the old mount point, and added a piece of angle to cover the hole and spread out the load a little. Used ER70-S2 and about 8 CFH. Now we're cookin' with gas. Plenty of power for this, but where it was three layers I did find I had floored it for a little bit. I would say most was done around 100 amps. This little machine does as good as any other DC TIG I've used. Smooth!
Welded everything up and shot on a little paint while it was still warm enough to get it to dry. It's a bit on the chilly side tonight. And the finished repair, ready to go out and find a new way to break something.
