    There are other places. Shipping could make a big difference to CA, so be sure to check the total cost. Also you can contact CK directly to find local dealers. It's always nice to have a local shop, even if you have to pay a little bit more for the service.

    They say the color code is "Sky Blue," I'm guessing that is 2% Lanthanated. I'm intending on using the kit with the WP-18 torch that canewith the PP256. I've read that most people prefer smaller torches but I'll at least give this a shot.

    I've also read that people use the pure tungsten when using AC, nut maybe that is for non-inverter machines only?

    Blue is 2% lanthanated and works great for everything. Never use pure tungsten with an inverter. People did that to "ball" the tungsten in the transformer days. You can weld aluminum with a pointed electrode also but you may need to put a small flat on the end when welding thick material to keep the elctrode from balling.
