I was cutting some 5/8" steel plate and the unit popped and smoked.
I called into the warranty/support line and left a message. I also tried to send an email to make sure this issue was seen as well as heard. But, for whatever reason my email to
support@everlastwelders.com will not go through?
I understand you guys are most likely busy and that I should be patient and wait for a phone call, but it would make me feel better to have some written correspondence. Sometimes voice messages fall through the cracks.
I got as far as taking the case/cover off of the unit and I can see that a board is fried. I have pictures I can send someone if that will help speed things along at all. Not trying to be a PITA just want to get this going.
