Default Project#3 from CGCINC. Category: General Welding Repair

I recently helped a friend build a 12x16 storage shed and as we were putting up the rafters, I did a few "dips" between the rafters and realized the angle was perfect.
I have a Body Solid dip station and it has always been a little uncomfortable when using so I decided to give it a 5/12 pitch angle....not sure what angle that is!? I just used a framing square to mark it out on the risers.
This was a pretty easy fix using my swivel bandsaw and the 250EX Tig.

As someone who just purchased their first welder, it is projects like these that inspire me. Don't like how something is? Change it!

And that is exactly why I learned to weld. I have always had little odd jobs that I need something welded or a bracket made or whatever.....it's nice to be able to just crank on the welder and fix my problem without paying someone else or waiting, and waiting, and waiting on a friend to weld it.

Now it's your turn!! Post some pics of something you fix or make or change with your new welder!!!

How about a few more details on that bandsaw. That thing looks slick.

    Edit:

    Nevermind, I found it here:

Any day on a motorcycle like this that ends just needing parts and labor is a good day.

LOL... Yeah, it works good now that I've got the bugs out of it. The swivel does come in handy when you need it!

Working in it!! I'm converting a commercial warehouse into a living space and I haven't had a chance to wire up the "garage" area yet. I need to clear some room and put in a 220v line.

Funny you mention brackets, I was just noticing some nice little ones in Best Buy last night. I plan to imitate many of the commercial displays I've seen as I build out my living space.
