Default Looking for Special 12 VDC Circuit Breaker

I am i need of a 12 Volt DC Circuit breaker ( 30-40 amps) that is an inline breaker that trips in a pull type application by weight 300-400 pounds. I have used some in the past that are flat hinged type but need one that is cylindrical about 2" in dia and 3-4" long. Have seen them in use years ago but do not remember the manufacture.

Is this actually a circuit breaker that trips according to an applied weight, rather than an electrical overcurrent? Or is it a specialized switch? I googled but didn't find or learn anything.

Yes it trips by weight the hinged ones we used were built in house at our plant, I have seen years ago an inline model but do not know the manufacture.
If i don't find one that works i will build what i need.

Wow, never heard of anything like that. What is the purpose for using weight instead of amperage? There is a place near me that sells odds and end breakers but I have no idea if they would have something like that. www.tampabaybreaker.com/

Oh ok makes sense now. I will give the breaker place near me a call for you tomorrow and see if they know what I am talking about. If they do then I will say great and let you know, lol.

When you made your own, how did you design them to open at 350#?
