What's your "Operating" air pressure when it is cutting? What amps are you running at?
How much drop in air pressure are you getting when you press the trigger? If it's more than 5-7 psi, the unit may have a kinked hose going to the air gauge.

Thanks guys ill make sure the compressor can be plugged in at the same time as the cutter, so i can get ample air pressure.
