    Nice link, I'm just not sure it's the better connection. After doing some net searching, it seems you can thread NPT into BSPP however it will thread in deeper. I will wrap the threads with teflon tape and see if they seal better than the O-ring does.

    I put an npt male in all of mine and it works fine... just don't over tighten, it could crack the aluminum especially with teflon tape.

    Thanks Zoama, by the way I want to wire the unit for 220v and currently have a stand alone receptacle (6-50R) on a 40amp breaker, will this circuit be sufficient for max voltage/amperage cutting?

    On all our units there is a spec table/matrix on the back of right side (looking from the back). The imax will be there. If 40 or less you are good. I have ran 42 amp unit on 40 amp breakers. But check the max current on the side. White silkscreen.
