Well from the Everlast video that shows the case size for the 140ST it looks like they have to be different cases, as the 140 case is only about 5.5" thick. From what I can see the 140 looks about 12" front to back, maybe 10" or so tall and about 5" wide or less. So the 160 is a little bigger.

Mike, do you have a 160STH case you can measure?

Looks like for the smallest package I'll also go with a 140. I will probably do a few mods anyway.

Yea it is smaller, I see not vents, probably the size of the itig200 case, we normally fit things in existing cases. Mark post the PP60-80 all in the same case. But it is probably smaller. Off to measure case...

    7Dx21Wx14H for the 160STH case.

Thanks a lot, that is quite a bit bigger. Makes my decision much easier.

The ITIG 200/140ST size case is small, but not a lot smaller to me. I would rather have a little more power (just me) If you plan to TIG you need a tank in the mix too.

The actual 140st is about the sizes you stated rambozo. Not had a chance to do anything other than take it out of the box and look at it. It looks well built, however it does sound like a screw or something small is loose in the case. I will probably open it up to get out what ever it is.

As a side note, the first one amazon shipped is still MIA. My guess is it was stolen because they shipped it single boxed. In other words it was the everlast box that tells what it is on the side. I figure one of the minimal wage box boys seen what it was and set it to the side.

Great, At least you got it before the long weekend. I'll just wait and order mine on Tues. Long weekends and shipping companies dot no mix well in my experience. If you give Mike the exact size, he can add it to the dim. sticky. It might not be a bad idea to add the case sizes for those welders that come with cases, Mike. Like fdcmiami mentioned, some people might have truck boxes or some other place where they want to tuck the case, and size matters.

Did that hours ago on the sticky and thanked Shane. Did not look, but sure it is the ITIG200 case, smaller than the 160.

You have to look at size and price and features. I like 160 AMPs and HF start. It cost more.. Size is small, the 160 is small as heck and a 125 tank no big deal to move either.

But if you want really small. And a lot less money.. That is the way to go.

What I meant was that you have the actual unit dimensions and a separate entry for the case, for those welders that come in a case. I see you have the case size for the 140 but the unit size for the 160, so it makes it look like the 140 is bigger.

    Something like:

    Power Arc 140ST = 10"H x 12"D x 5"W
    PA 140ST case = 16"H x 17.5"D x 5.75"W

    Power ARC 160STH = 12"H x 12"D x 6.5"W (hand measured)
    PA 160STH case = ??"H x ??"D x ??"W

I didn't even know the iTIG200 even came in a case. There is nothing on it's web page about that. Might want to update, that, too. I've always liked stuff that comes in cases.
