I have some PCP air rifle bottles that would do ok for argon and are rated to excess of 3000psi. And There are bailout SCUBA bottles that are high pressure and super small, too.
I don't see the 140ST on the dimensions thread, yet, how does it compare to the 160STH? They look like they fit in the same case. Or is the 160 case bigger?
I like the 160STH, but I can live without HF, gas solenoid and 20 extra amps for the price difference. And if it is bigger, I would prefer the smallest package possible. Size will be what seals the deal for me. I would probably pair it up with a WP-9 torch as that is a better fit for the amperage, and smaller. It still seems crazy that it's now possible to have a stick/TIG welder that fits in a briefcase. I love it.
They are small and fit in the case well. The WP-9 would be a plus on space too. I see the $200+, but you can use it as a home or small shop DC TIG as well. Foot pedal (optional) works well too. Mine has not been in the case since I bought it.

On the tanks. You can leave a spare in the truck, run out go back and get it.
