Default Super ultra 205 power loss

Hey there, I hope someone can help me, I'm new at this.
I have a Superultra 205 multi function. I was stick welding in my shop, when a neighbour came by, I shut the power off to visit, for about 10 minutes, when he left, I went back to my machine, and it wouldn't turn back on. It won't weld, or cut, no power at all. I unplugged my unit, and plugged my old welder in, and it worked fine, so I know it is not before the plug in the wall. I wasn't welding anything very heavy, nor was it a long weld, only a couple hinges. The machine didn't make any noises, there was no smoke, nothing. I have no idea what could be wrong, ANY help would be greatly appreciated, thanks. Pat

Do you have any power at all?? LED readout , fan running. If not the likely problem is the red power switch on the unit has a problem.
If it turns on and you get gas flow an HF spark then the issue is likely a mosfet.
    Cheers

Give tech support a call on Monday for instructions on testing the unit. The switch, etc. They'll get you fixed up.

No power at all, no lights, no fan, nothing. Is changing the switch difficult? Is it a part you stock? I can probably book a day off work, and head to Burlington, if you may be able to fix it while I'm there. I'm right in the middle of a project, and can't do anything until it's fixed. I'll try to call your office tomorrow, thanks for the speedy reply.

The switch is easy to replace. Check the plug of course first.

Can you check the voltage on both the line side and the load side of the switch ?

I'm not sure if I should take it apart without someone on the phone walking me through it, I really don't want to do any damage to it. As far as checking the load, I do have a multimeter, but am not sure how to do it. As I said earlier, when I plugged my old welder in, it worked fine, so I know there is power to the plug. I'm wondering if there is a fuse in it, and where I would find it? Thanks
