Gas Mixing Argon/CO2 From Separate Tanks

Anyone know of a good way to mix blend your own gases usinga separate Argon & CO2 bottles? I really don't want to spend 1500 bucks or more for a gas mixer and would rather just make something on my own that might work well.

Maybe you can try something like what Jody demonstrates with the "Y" fitting noted here:
